My other bikes

This is my beloved BMW K1100RS, from 1994. An ex Police bike, used as Motorway Interceptor by Newcastle police forces. Standard bodywork apart from an array of switches and warning lights that I presume related to police work.

Revs 1100rpm more than standard (up to 9500rpm) and it is incredibly quick. I've managed 157mph, on a race track, obviously Officer!

I've used it as a courier hack for several years until I moved on. By this time, it was in a pitiable state so I embarked in a 3 month restoration. Frames and other components were double powder coated, all structural components were Zinc Plated, A4 stainless steel fasteners used throughout, all machined individually in a lathe for an outstanding presentation.

With over 150k miles on the clock, ready for another 14 years of service!

My Vmax, I bought it in Feb 1998, an 1991 ex Canadian import, 149BHP of raw power, the only bike that scares the Devil out of me! Wild, extrovert, undomitable.

Soon to be restored cosmetically, needs a new set of exhaust silencers and a good polish up of all the alloy components.

A R100RT, soon to be converted in a Cafe Racer, I'm targetting 100BHP, don't know how long it will last but while it lasts, it will be the glory!

BMW K100RS 16v, actually a bunch of bits that I collected over the years, got almost all the components to do a complete bike, including frame, engine and documents, might do something Mad Max inspired with that alloy tank, all polished.

1956 BMW R50, in a pitiable state but suprisingly in good condition. I've always loved this bike for its beautiful lines but unfortunately these R series are almighty expensively to restore when they need as much work and parts as this one does so I may convert it to a Fifties Bobber, sparing a fortune in original parts.

Now, a collection of Hondas, for my CR750 project, a 1973 K3 with an astonishing seat, the ultimate gaffa tape chic! This K3 frame will serve as base for the CR750 Dick Mann/Daytona project.

a 1974 K4 in a fairly decent condition (despite the later Cosmic wheels) but suspect engine from a F1. This bike may serve as base for a CB Cafe Racer with a Giuliari seat, a faithful replica of the typical Cafe Racer from the Seventies, as seen on Joe Bar Team comic books.

A 1977 FI that will serve as spares donor for the two other projects, this bike came with loads of spares, including a K engine and two spare heads!
