BMW R90S cockpit fairing kits

The iconic BMW R90S cockpit fairing, the first fairing to be fitted on a mass produced motorcycle from the manufacturer (discounting the small numbers of Vincent Black Prince and the Ariel Leader), it inspired countless designs including Guzzi LeMans, Kawasaki Z1R, Suzuki GS1000S etc, etc.

This kit is designed to fit any BMW R2v Series keeping a low cost (this kit is seriously expensive from BMW, at over £750 and not all parts are available or included!) and with a bit of thought, has been applied to other makes and models such as BMW R8v series, Moto Guzzis and even Ducati Monsters.

This new fairing is very sturdy, thick (typically between 4 to 6mm), it will not flex or shake at speed. Very well finished with a fairly smooth surface inside (we use GRP surface mat for a better finish) with out usual attention to details so no air bubbles, cracks, frayed edges etc.
We've adopted the original inner fairing fastening set up an inner fairing fastening system, albeit using nylon lugs with a captive M6 nut, therefore much stronger than the original fairing, a refined solution rarely adopted due to the complexity. Our fairing follows very closely the lines of the original fairing unlike most replicas on the market. All the parts are pre-drilled, pre-trimmed and pre-mated so very little preparation work is required to fit apart from painting.

This kit is as near bolt on as you can get, this is especially useful for those converting full faired models such as RS or RT that do not have the long indicator stalks nor the headlights pegs (these items are quite expensive new from BMW).

Similar kit to our BMW R90S full cocpit fairing kit but without headlight brackets or lower mounting brackets. This kit is especially suited for BMW bikes (or others) that already have the original pressed steel headlight braclets and the R90S and R100 S/CS only longer indicator stalks. This kit includes the top yoke mounting brackets, using original BMW top yoke laser cut plates and our own replica linkage rods plus it includes all the necessary stainless steel fasteners, rubber washers and angle brackets.
